Raise your hand if you’re a short girl, or no, let me put that in a more flattering form, raise your hand if you’re a petite girl. My hand is up ‘cos I’m one… Lol

But should it be a big deal? Short, tall, slim, fat, please be comfortable in your skin lovelies.

So as a ‘petite’ girl, finding the right clothing to flatter my body and make me look good is always always a struggle and it shouldn’t be. It’s either I go to the market and sometimes end up buying jeans that are a bit longer than my legs and I have to fold up when I wear it or I tailor it, or I buy a shirt that isn’t the right fit for my sleeves i.e too long or I see a gown I’d love to buy but it’s just not the right length, ugh! The struggle.

But luckily, there are stylists, ‘petite’ stylists who help us get through with these things, like tell us ‘what to wear’, ‘what not to wear’, ‘how to wear it’, ‘how not to’ and all of that.

Due to the frustration of going to the market and not always seeing the good/beautiful clothes with right fittings for my body I decided to do some research. The petite body can be tricky, yunno, having people stare at you and all and if you’re not wearing the appropriate clothing, you’d be mistaken for an eleven year old which can be embarrassing. So I did alot of searching, google, YouTube, pinterest… I researched and discovered that there are tips and tricks on what to wear that can be flattering for your body and how to slay wear it. There are tons of ideas, tips and tricks but today, we’d focus on one clothing item.
