‘Goodnight, I love you’, I said

‘I love you too’, he said before he hit the end button or so he thought ‘cos right after that I heard a female voice ask,

‘She’s dumb, but what if she finds out and starts to cheat on you too’?

I heard my love laugh before he replied her. ‘Her? Cheat on me? She’s stupidly in love with me, she’s a good and faithful woman, loves me too much to hurt me, she can’t try it’. And right after he said that, I heard them both laugh, at me. My greatest fear has been realized and my heart was broken to pieces My goodness was being used against me.

As I cut the call myself from my end, I had snapped.

‘He’s missed his blessing, he’s hurt a good woman, He will suffer, he will pay me back in tears’ I said to myself as I cleaned the tears on my face and lay on the bed to sleep for the night.
